SPORTSMAN'S BRIDGE BIGFORK'S NEXT NEW BRIDGE IS COMING SOON! LEARN MORE AT THE SPORTSMAN'S BRIDGE OPEN HOUSE The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Sletten Construction will begin work to replace Sportsman's Bridge, spanning the Flathead River on Montana Highway 82. A new structure will be built next to the south side of the existing bridge. The current bridge will remain open during construction with minimal traffic impacts. The project will also add a left-turn lane and right-turn slip lane at the intersection with Oldenburg Road to enhance access to the new Fishing Access Site, as well as new left-and right-turn lanes at Hanging Rock Drive. Join us for an open house to learn about the construction plans, meet the project team, and ask questions before work begins. No formal presentation will be made, and all are welcome to drop by at any time during the event.
