Kalispell Bypass - Ashley Creek to West Reserve Drive PROJECT COMPLETE The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), in partnership with Pavement Maintenance Services, Inc., has completed the Kalispell Bypass (Alternate U.S. Highway 93) improvement project. Work extended from West Reserve Drive south for approximately four miles, ending just beyond the southern Ashley Creek bridge. The project focused on preserving the existing pavement to extend its lifespan and maintain a smooth driving experience. Crews completed a crack seal, seal and cover (chip seal), along with a fog seal on the adjacent shared-use path. Repairs were also made to the bridge ends at the southern Ashley Creek bridge. The purpose of this project was to prolong and preserve the condition of the existing pavement. MDT thanks the public for their patience and cooperation throughout the construction process.
