STILLWATER RIVER-NORTH PAVEMENT PRESERVATION Hello Neighbors, Beginning early April, the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and its partner, LHC Inc., will begin a pavement preservation project, weather and other factors permitting. The Stillwater River - North project on US Highway 93 (US 93) in Flathead County will span approximately two miles north of the intersection with West Reserve Drive. Planned work includes a seal and cover (chip seal), crack sealing, fog sealing, new pavement markings, and upgraded signage. The purpose of this project is to enhance safety features, provide a smoother driving surface, and extend the service life of the roadway. Throughout the duration of the project, MDT and LHC Inc. will prioritize clear communication and coordination to minimize inconvenience for residents, commuters, and local businesses.
