MONTANA Department of Transportation Public Comment Public Comment for Storm Water Management Plan The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) implements a Storm Water Management Program to reduce the discharge of pollutants from transportation infrastructure into local surface waters. MDT's program is defined in their Storm Water Management Program document and this document is intended to be refined throughout its implementation to improve the effectiveness of the program and protect Montana's surface water resources. MDT has updated its Storm Water Management Program and is asking for public input to provide feedback on the draft, revised document and to help improve the implementation of the program to further protect water quality.
