VISION ZERO PUBLIC TANA PARTMEN ANNOUNCEMENT NIGHTTIME WORK TO OCCUR ON NORTH MERIDIAN The Montana Department of Transportation will begin work to improve North Meridian Road in Kalispell starting Sept. 16. Crews will repair uneven areas, lower manholes and seal cracks on the roadway from the intersection of West Idaho Street and Sunset Boulevard. Paving and striping is slated to follow later this month. The first phase of construction is expected to conclude in mid-October, weather permitting, and crews will return in the spring of 2019 for chip sealing. Work will be conducted primarily at night to limit traffic impacts. Every effort will be made to minimize inconveniences, but residents along the project should expect some nighttime noise Please abide by all posted speed limits.
