PUBLIC AN FRAPAMEN ANNOUNCEMENT SIX CENTRAL KALISPELL ROADS TO UNDERGO IMPROVEMENTS THIS SPRING The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will be resurfacing several central Kalispell roads to improve severe cracking and roughness. Beginning in April, MDT will fix uneven areas, seal cracks and lay fresh pavement on local roadways. Improvements will be made on East Center Street, 7th Street West, 7th Avenue West, East Evergreen Drive and Foys Lake Road. Crews will also make final adjustments to water valves and complete chip sealing on North Meridian Road, which was repaved last fall. The first phase of construction is slated to finish this spring, weather depending. Crews will return in the summer for chip sealing and striping to complete the project.
