The Whitefish Lion Mountain VFW Post 276 held its first meeting in May of 1931. Monthly meetings continue, these are held the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm. Meetings are open to active VFW members.
Lion Mountain Ladies Auxiliary 276 was established, and held its first meeting on January 12 1933. The Ladies Auxiliary is still going strong and welcomes community support, as well as new memberships.
