There will NOT be affordable, workforce, or entry-level housing 2. The high density, mixed used subdivision violates the Flathead County's Growth Plan and is wholly out of character for our rural community. Changing the zone from SAG 5 to R-1 and building 268 housing units and 73 resort RV stalls in no way benefits the community. Do you want to set in motion the first domino to fall that would create an endless sprawl of high density housing across the North Valley? 3. Taxpayers will end up paying for the increased demands Montarise Development places on our infrastructure. Their plan acknowledges the need for improved roads and a stoplight on Hwy 93 but there are no statements in their proposal about paying for them. 4. The development creates unsafe living conditions and untenable traffic. Adding some 850 residents, 90+ school-aged children, and 3,300 daily vehicle trips onto the winding, 2-laned KM Ranch Rd and Hwy 93 in a Wildfire Urban Interface area endangers residents and threatens the quality of our water and roads.
