WEYERHAEUSER WELCOMES HUNTERS All of Weyerhaeuser's Montana lands are in the MDFWP Block Management Program and open year-round, free of charge, for non-commercial public hunting, fishing and camping Motorized access is allowed on all open roads, but gated roads are open to public walk access only. All public access is prohibited from active timber harvest activities where signs and gates are posted for those operations Hunters are advised to avoid trespass on other private property to reach Weyerhaeuser land. These rules are for the safety of you and others that will be able to enjoy hunting our land ROAD RESTRICTIONS FIREWOOD Weyerhaeuser often restricts the type of motorized access permitted on our lands to protect wildlife habitat, prevent erosion and run-off, reduce the spread of noxious weeds, and protect our property A gated road, whether the gate is open or closed, is a year-round closure to all motorized vehicles, unless there is a sign designating a road as open Do not park in front of gates. Administrative or emergency vehicles may need to enter Roads with earthen barriers are closed to all motorized vehicles except snowmobiles between December 15 and April 1 Firewood cutting requires a Weyerhaeuser firewood permit. CAMPING Hunters may camp in one campsite for up to 14 days, but may not leave a campsite unattended for more than three consecutive days. Hunters wishing to stay in the area for more than 14 days must relocate to a campsite at least five miles from the original site No cutting of standing trees permitted at any time Pack out all garbage Do not leave campfires unattended. Please be considerate and sanitary when locating or using latrines. They must be 300 feet from water or must be self-contained NOXIOUS WEEDS Noxious weeds hurt productive big game habitat.
