WE ARE HERE FOR YOU A MESSAGE FROM YOUR HEALTHCARE TEAM Dear Friends and Neighbors, Over the past few weeks, Logan Health has seen record numbers of patients in our emergency departments and in our hospitals. The rise in COVID-19 cases combined with the arrival of seasonal visitors has led to more patients requiting medical care. We are proud of the tremendous effort that our workforce displays when our hospitals have increased volumes like we have recently had. We have been steadfast in our calling to provide excellent patient care and we have stood side- by-side in coming up with solutions to complex operational challenges To be a healthcare worker is one of the most honorable professions and healthcare workers across the country have been rising to these challenges even after a year of COVID. We are not out of the woods yet. As our community cases creep up we are continually dedicated to being your healthcare resource. However, there are some ways you can help us Consider walk-in care. we ask you to visit a walk-in clinic for common ilnesses and minor injuries. If you visit the emergency department for condition that could be treated in a walk-in care setting, you may be asked to visit a clinic instead. Walk-in care options at Logan Health include: Logan Health Primary Care - 160 Heritage Way, Suite 202 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Logan Health Primary Care - 1287 Burns Way Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m: Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please be patient. Wait times may be longer than usual in our emergency department. Please be flexible. For patients needing skilled nursing care, there is a higher likelihood of being transferred to a facility outside the Flathead Valley, due to limited availability locally. Consider vaccination. Vaccines have now been provided to nearly two hundred million Americans and are deemed safe. Vaccines are readily available at many locations in our region, including Logan Health. Wash your hands. Frequent and thorough handwashing is one of the most effective ways to stop the spread of disease. We wish we could tell you exactly when volumes and rising COVID cases will alleviate but no one has that crystal ball. What we can tell you is that we must work together to keep our community safe. We appreciate your patience and understanding and we thank you for trusting us with your care.
