Gary has served as an FEC Trustee for the past two and a half years, with two years as Secretary/Treasurer of the board. He advocates fiscal conservatism, low rates, and keeping FEC on the cutting edge of technology.
Raised on a ranch near Big Timber, MT, Gary was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy and received his M.B.A. from the University of Montana in 1978. He is passionate about continuing his education, and most recently received his Director’s Gold status through the NRECA, advancing his knowledge of cooperative organizations such as FEC.
His extensive resume includes time with D.A. Davidson & Co. (Billings), Director of Operations/Investment for Missoula County, and President of Northwest Business Group. Gary’s education history, financial experience, and overall congenial manner have served FEC well, and he looks forward to the opportunity to continue serving the Flathead Valley as Flathead Electric Cooperative Trustee District 7.
