Dedicated in 2007, the memorial plaza is prominently located in Depot Park, Kalispell, MT.
HONOR - Never Forget. The Flathead County Veterans Memorial consists of a stunning granite statue with a soldier in bronze honoring a fallen comrade and is emblazoned with the words
"We will never forget".
SACRIFICE - Some gave all. All combat losses are listed on the memorial statue itself with other veterans and local citizens recognized through engraved bricks placed at ground level in a star configuration.
COMMITMENT - Giving Back. Funds for the memorial design and construction were raised through donations and the sale of bricks. However, annual maintenance expenses require new funds each year even with many volunteer hours.
ACTION - Contribute. Community members are encouraged to donate funds or purchase bricks to keep the memorial forever a shining tribute to our veterans – this support can be accomplished through the "DONATE" feature on our website.
