Yes! For Flathead Farms and Water is empowering the citizens of Flathead County to vote to protect our water and the agricultural heartland of the Flathead Valley from a water bottling plant. The proposed water bottling plant could produce and rinse 1.2 Billion plastic bottles a year — polluting our river with its plastic residue and chemicals. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service biologists say this would threaten bull trout and other fish and aquatic wildlife in our rivers and lakes. Voting FOR the Egan Slough initiative will add 530 acres of farmland to the district, keeping this area in agricultural uses, and protecting water, lakes, and fish from the negative impacts of the water bottling plant.
