Glacier Dock was established in 1932 by Art Burch and originally called Glacier Park Boat Builders. Art built tour boats, docks and worked exclusively on all the tour boats in Glacier National Park. He also ran Glacier Park Boat Company in the Park, where Brian McCuin started as a boat captain at Many Glacier during the summers while going to college. Brian and Art started Glacier Dock in 1962 and over the years have built a thousand docks and marinas together. Brian bought the company in 1994.
