About

nternationally, the Lions International Eye Bank supports cornea transplants, sight conservation and other work relating to helping the blind regain their sight or function better in the dark world. The Northwest Eye Bank in Seattle is part of this network. Locally, the Kalispell Lions support a variety of area needs, from eye glasses to scholarships and from Lions Park to various youth activities. We support diabetes awareness in association with KRMC and raise funds for the area food banks. Our Dream Vacation raffle helps support these programs. The club meets once a week to report on business and hear an informative program. Part of the dedication and fun of the Kalispell Lions Club is demonstrated in our variety of fund-raising projects. For instance, members look forward to sell raffle tickets for a rifle, work on Lions Park or enjoy a picnic. In conjunction with other area Lions Clubs we operate the Bitterroot Lions Youth Camp. The Northwest Montana Fair brings out Lions and friends of Lions to work and joke with each other as they sell Redneck sausages and sandwiches at the Kalispell Lions food booth. We enjoy working together on projects to serve the community.
