I also served as the Senior Legal Secretary in the office of Risk Management of Kootenai County, Idaho for another 6 years. Research- ing to find facts on issues was my job. The following facts I researched myself and I would like to have these made public as a statement on the current abor- tion issue. I sincerely believe that if the young women actually knew the facts and could check them out for themselves, some would think twice before having an abortion. FACT NUMBER ONE: On November 25, 2019, a bipartisan bill was passed in Congress called "Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act" PACT. This bill bans the intentional crushing, burning, drowning, suffocating, impalement or other serious harm to living non-human mammals, birds, reptiles or amphib- ians. The penalty for such treatment of an animal is a fine, or a prison term of up to 7 years or both a fine and prison time. Two democrats sponsored this bill: Richard Blumenthal (Conn.) and Ted Deutch (Fla.). Impalement is defined as: to pierce or transfix with a sharp instrument, as to cut a head off and put it on a staff or rod. It is sickening to know that a human life is valued less than an animal. ***This same Richard Blumenthal went on to be the lead author and Senate sponsor of the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA). His charge to protect abortion is set out in his own statement of SENATOR BLUMENTHAL'S 2022 YEAR IN REVIEW FOR 12.30.2022. FACT NUMBER TWO: In testimony on February 7, 2019, Dr. Anthony Levatino, a former abortion doctor who performed over 1,200 abortions, described the abortion procedure upon a baby that was moving and testified about stacking up baby body parts on a table. Dr. Levatino then testified as to his reasons for becoming pro-life. His testimony is short and very impacting; you can find it on the internet by googling his name and testimony date. There is also a video available on the internet narrated by a doctor using a baby doll showing how the impalement of a human baby under partial birth abortion is done; the baby is taken out breach and a sharp instrument is inserted into the neck and head area. I couldn't watch it all, but trust me it is there. FACT NUMBER THREE: Da Vinci Biosciences and Da Vinci Biologics Companies were successfully prosecuted in 2017 by an Orange County District Attorney, not for torture and harm to a human baby, but for UNLAWFUL SALE OF FETAL TISSUE AND STEM CELLS FOR PROFIT. A SETTLEMENT OF 7.8 MILLION DOLLARS was imposed in this case. Abortion is a billion-dollar industry. Track the money. I found that some companies sold interests, some merged and then operated under another name. When I watch a video clip on TV of a top leader in Congress and some others lifting glasses in celebration of New Yor City's partial birth abortion bill becoming law, I became physically ill, almost vomiting. Watching them, I was reminded of what God says in Romans, chapter 1, verse 32, talking about people like this "who knowing the judgement of God that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." And as far as a woman's right to choose for her own body; this is what God says in 1 Corinthians 6:19, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
