I have been asked many times why I am running for Sheriff. I will admit my plan was never to be the Sheriff of Flathead County. I have always enjoyed serving with the men and women of law enforcement and local first responders. But as my career grew in leadership, I was asked by so many to run for this important position. It is the dedicated staff and community that will create our future. I have learned by leading from the front and having employees that respect and believe in me, we can accomplish so much. As I proceed through this election, it is these hard-working supporters that will continue to make this campaign successful. If elected Sheriff, I will continue this positive relationship with those of this office as well as with the citizens we are sworn to serve. Over the next month I will provide further details of my goals and plans to benefit the Flathead County Sheriff's Office and the Flathead Valley.
