Immanuel Lutheran CO M MUNITIES Immanuel Lutheran Presents Philanthropic Awards KALISPELL Immanuel Lutheran Communities is honoring the philanthropic efforts of community leaders with three awards. DICK IRVIN has been named Philanthropy Leader of the Year, while Giles Electric will receive the Business Partner of the Year award and Dolores Mae Lynch was selected as Mission in Ministry Partner of the Year. A longtime donor, Irving was honored for his extraordinary gifts to the Immanuel Foundation. Irvin lives in Whitefish and is the founder of Dl, a family owned transportation company based in Shelby, MT Dick's involvement with Immanuel goes back decades, and over the years he has become one of our most prolific and reliable contributors, said Jason Cronk, Immanuel Lutheran Communities CEO. "In fact, Dick ranks among our top five donors for total Ifetime contributions. His generous contributions exemplity true philanthropic spirt, and we are blessed that he's selected our organization as a beneficiary of his gifts. GILES ELECTRIC, based in Kalispell, wa:s recognized for its customer service, support and cooperation. Giles Electric, working as a subcontractor on all of our construction projects the past three years has upheld the highest standards for the services provided, and their commitment to best practice and professionalism is supported by every employee, regardless of their positon, Cronk said. Giles has also assisted our IT and maintenance departments in solving problems and providing services, and sometimes performing the work pro bono. DOLORES LYNCH was honored for providing volunteer time and talent to help make life exceptional for Immanuel Lutheran residents. Recipients of the Mission in Ministry Partner of the Year award 'stand out from all others and really go above and beyond with their time and dedication to our organization, Cronk said. Lynch began volunteering in 2010, after retiring and moving back to her childhood home in Kalispell Years earlier, her father worked for Immanuel in its beginning stages, helping to raise funds for the original Immanuel Lutheran Home buit in 1957 Lynch has volunteered in many capacities: in the gift shop, as auxilary treasurer, as lefse maker, at the fall bazaar, as a church and doctor visit escort, as prayer group leader, as a Heavenly Grounds latte maker, and with the Lunch Bunch, Breakfast Club and Supper Club Photos courtesy of Immanuel Lutheran Communities.
